Q1 Milestone Achievements: Auric’s Transformational Pivot and Breakthrough Quarter

Q1 2025 marks a defining chapter for Auric, as we successfully completed our strategic pivot from Paybonsai (bonsai) to Auric, establishing ourselves as a leading B2B embedded finance platform. This transformation was not just a change in business model, but a leap into a new era of innovation, white-labeled financial services, customer-centricity, and growth.

Needless to say all credit goes to our wonderful team of colleagues, shareholders and stakeholders, as without them this journey would be merely impossible.

Here’s what Auric achieved so far:

Seamless Transition from B2C to B2B and the launch of www.auric.cloud

Building on the strong foundation and consumer insights gained from bonsai, and thanks to a growing demand from key brands, organisations and customers, we have now moved into a fully dedicated white-label financial service offer.  We moved our HQ from Antwerp to our new home in the beautiful Laarne Castle near Ghent.  As part of our transition our key partners including Mastercard, Monavate, Marqeta, Checkout, and the NBB have supported and engaged into our new direction.

Successful Seed Capital Raise

As a result of our new direction, we secured additional funding from our existing institutional and private shareholders, validating our vision and providing the resources to accelerate product development and market expansion. This investment underscores the confidence of top-tier investors in our team, technology, and market opportunity.

New Major Contract Wins


Soon after the announcement of our shift into a dedicated B2B offer, we already new major contracts with enterprise clients, marking a significant commercial breakthrough. These partnerships are a testament to the value and scalability of our embedded finance platform, and they set the stage for further growth in the months ahead. One of our new projects aims at providing openbanking services across a range of industries, with an initial partnership already underway.  In another exciting development,  Auric has joined forces with Club Brugge to revolutionize fan engagement and loyalty in the sports world. This partnership will introduce a unique solution designed to enhance the connection between fans and their favorite football club. Stay tuned for more information coming up in this space.

Our journey from bonsai to Auric has taught us that agility, customer obsession, and innovation are not just competitive advantages—they’re necessities against we commit passionately!
